with a break in the WWII period she was used for fishing until about 1950
first name was "Comandant Louis Richard", renamed the "Jean Marc Aline" after she was sold in 1948, because of her low profitableness for the fishery she should be sold after the first voyage
bought by the Italian navy in 1951, converted to a sailtraining ship, afterwards used as a sailtraining ship under the name "Palinuro" for the Navy School "La Maddalena" starting in 1955
