the new Dunbrody will house an educational exhibition re-enacting the life on board the ship as she carried passengers from New Ross to the US and Canada in the middle of the last century, exhibition is the result of extensive research carried out over severeal years by the Kennedy Trust, using source data which includes material from Dunbrody's ship's box, and original manuscripts including passenger lists.
launched in February 2001, will be opened to visitors from May 2001 at the quayside in New Ross.
