Adix

one of the largest private sailing yachts built after World War II

initially rigged as a topsail schooner, this vessel sailed mainly in the Mediterranean and along Western European coasts unber the name "Jessica" until 1987, changing owners several times.

renamed the "Schooner XXXX" in 1988 and registered in Freemantle (Australia)

after yet another change of owner, the rigging, interior, hull, rudder and engine were completely refitted and the vessel renamed the "Adix"

took part in the veteran yacht race from Nioulargue to St. Tropez in 1991 and 1992

then embarked on a round trip from the Caribbean to North America and Europe in an attempt to set a new speed record on the North-Atlantic route
