One of the largest private sailing yachts built after the Second World War. Originally rigged as a topsail schooner, she sailed mainly in the Mediterranean and along the coasts of Western Europe as Jessica until 1987, changing owners several times.
In 1988 she was renamed Schooner XXXX and registered in Fremantle, Australia. After another change of ownership, her rig, interior, hull, rudder and engine were completely refitted and she became Adix.
She took part in the veteran yacht race from Nioulargue to St Tropez in 1991 and 1992, then set out on a round trip from the Caribbean to North America and Europe in an attempt on the North Atlantic speed record.
