built by J.A.Stewart & Co., Barking, Essex, UK as a herring-logger without engine for the sailing region around Iceland.

1885-1905 owned by the fishing company Hewett & Co Ltd, London, UK under the name "Sweetheart", registered as LO385.

1905 sold to C.T.Pannell from London, 1907 again sold to A.W.Long from Glasgow, 1908 sold to H.Hansen, Isafjördur, Iceland.

1911 sold to Tønnes Wathne from Stavangar, Norway and renamed the "Gårdar".

1922 return to Iceland under the new owner J. Wathne, Seydisfjördur, Tønnes Wathne bought her back in 1926.

1928 Torstein Nygaard from Stavangar bought "Gårdar", 1929 Andr. Halsen from Bekkjarvik, Bergen became the co-owner.

since 1948 K.Halstensen A/S, owned by Andreas Halstensen, Bekkjarvik, operated the ship, replacement of the steam engine by a diesel motor, 1950 lenghtened by approx. 5m, 1966 lengthened by approx. 3m, 1970 fitted with the Deutz engine.

1973 Krisstoffer Aase from Bekkjarvik, Bergen became the co-owner, renamed the "Hordatral".

the former name "Hordatral" comes from the Norwegian terms "Hordaland" (a district in the south-west of Norway) and "Traler" (a fishing-boat).

laid up because of unremunerativity in about 1980.

since about 1985 owned by the German Matthias Zeug, conversion to a barkentine, sailing region became the Baltic Sea.

in May 2002 sold to German/Dutch owners, renamed the "Störtebeker".

since 2009/10 used as restaurant in the Flensburg city habour.

sold in October 2011 to family Halstensen of Bekkjarvik, NOR, renamed "Gårdar" again, planned usage as museum ship to promote the tourism in the region.
