Her keel was laid in 1996 at the Radunia yard in Gdańsk; once the steelwork was finished she was transported to the Gebr. Friedrich yard in Kiel, where the interior, engine room and rigging were completed. In 1997 she was commissioned under the German flag as a cruise vessel for the Baltic, the North Sea, the Mediterranean and the Canaries.
She attended the Hanse Sail in Rostock in 1997, 1998 and 2000, can cater for up to 120 guests and sailed the second Hiorten regatta from Karlskrona to Rostock in 1998.
She was later brought under the Panamanian flag and renamed Mary-Anne II. In April 2005 she was sold at public auction to the ship broker Britannia Shipping International, and an American then bought her to convert her into a private yacht.
Today Angermeyer Cruises offers sailing trips around the Galápagos Islands aboard Mary-Anne II.
