The school ship of the Naval University at Gdynia.
A square stern is a characteristic feature of these Polish-designed and Polish-built ships. The plan for the class was drawn up by the famous Polish designer Zygmunt Choreń; the Polish barquentine Pogoria (1980), the Bulgarian Kaliakra (1984) and the Polish Oceania (1985), with her three-masted experimental rig, share a similar hull.
A Bermudian sail is set on her mizzen mast.
She has often sailed the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race — from London to Hamburg in 1989, the Columbus Regatta in 1992 and Gdańsk–Mariehamn–Stockholm–Flensburg in 2000.
The date "27 November 1995, Cape Horn" is painted on her deckhouse.
