Built in France in 1947 and used in the crayfish trade between France and Mauritania.
After a major refit and re-rig she was used for film work from 1986. Roger Barton bought her and sailed her as a private charter vessel in the waters between England and Ireland, in the Channel — often calling at the Channel Islands — and along the French coast.
She was lost in June 2003: chartered for the Irish reality television show Cabin Fever and sailing around the island of Ireland, she struck rocks near Tory Island off the northwest coast. Human error through tiredness was the probable cause.
