Built by Bjørn Alvdal at Brekke in Norway as a cargo sailing ship, mainly carrying salt between England and Norway. She was later used for fishing in the North Sea.
In the early 1970s she went to Bergen and was converted into a charter vessel. Hans Arnold brought her to Lübeck in 1975 and used her mostly privately. In 1983 her hull was coated with polyester because she was making water, and a new suit of sails followed in 1998.
In August 2005 she was brought to Tallinn and handed to the SA Tuletorn Fond. Since 2012 she has been sailed and maintained by the non-profit Blue Sirius Association, working with Estonian and foreign young people.
On 9 August 2013 she grounded near the Estonian island of Aegna and sank. Her crew were rescued and eleven days later the ship was salvaged as well and taken to Port Noblessner for repair.
