Built in New Zealand as a fast and luxurious sailing yacht.

Since January 1996 she has been officially registered with the Indonesian Navy. The prefix KRI stands for Kapal perang Republik Indonesia — warship of the Republic of Indonesia.

She takes part in sailing events, among them the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in the Mediterranean in 1996. In July and August 2007 she ran aground on the Australian coast at Rainbow Beach, Queensland, and was salvaged for repair.
