Built at the Bager yard in Marstal in 1906, she carried goods across the Baltic and along the coast. Her first owner was A. K. Andersen of Marstal; C. J. Schmidt took her over in 1908 and from 1909 H. J. H. Christensen of Ommel, who gave her a first auxiliary engine.

From 1918 to 1928 she belonged to K. J. Kristensen of Ommel and received a stronger diesel in 1919. E. Stærke of Ærøskøbing followed, and from 1937 F. and C. Jørgensen of Rudkøbing. A major rebuild in 1947 brought a wheelhouse, another engine and a reduced rig.

In 1968 Kristian Lund bought her and converted her at Middelfart from a freighter into a charter vessel; she has sailed with guests since 1970, from 1982 alongside the owner's wife Anette Hansen. Since 1973 she has looked as she did in her early days — no wheelhouse, schooner-rigged — with a stronger engine of 110 hp.

After her owner's death in 2018 Anette Hansen ran her until 2020. Since 2021 Gorm Bødker and Helene Moodie have sailed her with guests. She has also worked in film, including Pelle the Conqueror (1987), Barbara (1997), Lykke-Per (2017) and a Danish television programme in 2020/21.
