Launched in 1995, she resembles an old-fashioned windjammer in every way. She was named Kathryn B. for her first owner, Kathryn Baxter.
She was used for luxury cruises, sailing the Maine coast in summer and the Caribbean in winter.
Since 2005 she has belonged to Greg and Laura Lohse, sailing on charter out of Yorktown under the name Alliance.
