A so-called hajkutter built in 1938 at the yard of Jens Peter Nipper in Skagen. She fished until 1984.
Between 1986 and 1997 she was converted into a gaff ketch, fitted with neat, seamanlike cabins and all the technical equipment needed for sailing with passengers. No knowledge of sailing is required aboard — only a willingness to lend a hand during manoeuvres.
She appears at sailing festivals such as Hanse Sail Rostock, Kiel Week and the Hajkutter regatta at Nysted.
Udo Plat of Flüggendorf near Kiel ran her for some twenty-five years. In 2017 she was taken over by the newly founded non-profit association Segelvision e.V. of Frankfurt am Main, which sails with guests to fund the ship's upkeep and to pass on traditional seamanship.
