Built in Lisbon in 1957 as a freighter carrying salt; her sister ship is O' Abandonado.
In May 1997 the association Hissez-Haut Côte d'Albâtre bought her, overhauled her and converted her to sail with passengers on two- to five-day trips along the French and English coasts and in the Channel.
She was later run for a time by the Marseille association Les Bordées. In 2021 she was sold to Léa Mias and Victor Leydet, refitted at the Mestre Jaime yard in Sarilhos Pequenos, Portugal, and equipped for charter out of La Ciotat, France.
