A replica of a Snekkersten jolle of 1880 — Snekkersten is a small district of the Baltic port of Helsingør, Denmark. Boats of this type were used for fishing and for supplying larger ships lying offshore.
She was built in 1980 by Kiersgaard and Nielsen in Troense, Denmark, to the order of Volkwin Marg of Hamburg, owner of the three-masted topsail schooner Activ. In 1988 Heinz Dethloff found her in Hamburg-Oevelgönne and restored her over the following two years.
She was then donated to the museum harbour in Flensburg, where a collection of wooden working boats is kept. She has been maintained there ever since and is used for youth work.
